An enjoyable evening combining African drama with classical music! Africa-Upon-Thames truly comes to life at AFRUCA's Variety Evening on 29 June. Join us for what promises to be an entertaining and fun event designed to get you pensive, dancing, laughing and singing - all at the same time. AFRUCA young people perform "The Big Festival" - a story about overcoming adversity. Watch their fantastic fashion show and musical dance. Poet Dumi Senda wows with some brilliant poetry while the well acclaimed Georgina Whitehead injects sombriety playing beautiful music on her classical guitar!
